Months and Days of the Week
Months in Japanese are regular and easy to form: 一月, 二月, 三月, and so on. Days of the week are fixed patterns that appear in calendars, class schedules, and appointments.
会議は 四月に あります。
The meeting is in April.
Month words use number + 月.
テストは 火曜日に あります。
The test is on Tuesday.
Day-of-week words often mark when an event happens.
日本語の クラスは 金曜日に あります。
Japanese class is on Friday.
Class schedules often use weekday + に.
