Build the obligation pattern
Start from the plain negative form and attach 〜なければならない. This pattern means “must do” or “have to do.”
Target signal
明日早く起きなければならない。
I have to get up early tomorrow.
The whole predicate shows obligation about tomorrow morning.

Meaning and tone
This pattern usually sounds more objective than a direct command. The polite variant often appears as 〜なければなりません.
Target signal
今日は病院へ行かなければならない。
I have to go to the hospital today.
The speaker states a necessity, not a command to someone else.

Read the long chunk quickly
When you see 〜なければならない, recognize it as one obligation chunk. Then connect it to the rest of the sentence.
Target signal
宿題をしなければならないから、先にうちへ帰る。
Because I have to do homework, I am going home first.
The reason comes first, then the obligation.
