Using よ
よ adds information, emphasis, or confidence. It often sounds like the speaker is telling the listener something they should notice or remember.

This cake is good, you know.
よ adds friendly emphasis to new information.
もう時間だよ。
It’s already time.
This feels like a reminder or notice.
明日テストだよ。
There’s a test tomorrow, you know.
よ can make the speaker sound definite about what they know.
