Sentence 1
来月、あやの学校で文化祭があるので、クラスでは今週からじゅんびを始めました。
Because Aya's school will have a cultural festival next month, the class began preparing this week.
Sentence 2
あやは受付のポスターを作る係になり、みかはSNSの文章を書くことになりました。
Aya became the person in charge of making the reception poster, and it was decided that Mika would write the SNS text.
Sentence 3
二人は昼休みに教室に残って、どんな色を使うか相談します。
The two stay in the classroom during lunch break and discuss what colors to use.
Sentence 4
みかは「遠くからでも見えるように、大きい字にしたほうがいいよ」と言います。
Mika says, 'So that it can be seen even from far away, it's better to make the letters big.'

あやもそう思ったので、家で考えてきた案をノートから出しました。
Aya thought so too, so she took out from her notebook the plan she had thought up at home.

ただ、その写真は少し暗いので、先に明るくしておくことにします。
